Abstract
The article describes the progress in building a digital B2B marketplace for public agencies by federal US government.
The federal government in July 2020 took an initial step to work with three established ecommerce organizations: Amazon Business, Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. and Overstock.com Inc. Now, the B2B marketplace is live and "slowly but steadily begins ramping up operations." For example, in 2022, the total volume of such operations came up to $40.4 million.
The following numbers are available in the article:

- Which federal agencies use the marketplace the most
- Shares of each vendor in marketplace volumes
- Top 10 categories on the marketplace
- Average order size
- Number of users in 2021 - 2022
- Cost of operating the marketplace
